Commercial Vehicle Centre is a South Island owned and operated company which operates from three locations in Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill with Parts and Service agents in other strategic locations throughout the South Island.

Commercial Vehicle Centre was established in 1985 after a locally-based company purchased H E Melhop Ltd from the Melhop family, who were one of the first companies in New Zealand to import motor vehicles from Japan. H E Melhop had two branches - one each in Invercargill and Dunedin.

In 1989 the company opened its Christchurch branch in Blenheim Road and in 1997 shifted to a purpose-built site at 8 Waterloo Road, Sockburn. A similar new premise was completed in Dunedin in 2003 at 12 Strathallan Street. The Invercargill branch is located at 181 North Road, Invercargill.

Commercial Vehicle Centre sells a complete range of new Nissan Diesel Trucks. With our three sales locations we have the largest range of new trucks, imported, used and second hand trucks in the South Island. We also have a comprehensive range of Nissan Diesel parts at all locations, as well as a large stock of other truck and trailer parts.

All three branches have large well-equipped workshops, servicing Nissan Diesel product as well as all other road transport related equipment.
