Gavin Poot

Gavin has been part of the CVC crew since 2009, when CVC purchased Nelson Truck & Marine, where he originally started out as an apprentice. Fast forward a few years and he's now Workshop Foreman - keeping the techs in check and customers up to date on costs, timeframes and how things are tracking.

Gavin thrives on the fast pace of the workshop, thinking on his feet and tackling whatever problems get thrown his way. He enjoys working alongside a great team and is passionate about making sure customers receive the kind of service he would expect himself.

Outside of work Gavin has a young family who keep him well and truely on his toes. They enjoy getting outdoors for hikes and four-wheel-driving adventures whenever they get a chance.
